Film Tampa Bay gives back
In honor of the season of giving, our staff volunteered at Feeding Tampa Bay's warehouse sorting center. 16,236 lbs of food was sorted, totaling 13,530 meals for our neighbors with food insecurities.
Later in the month, Tyler participated in the annual Great American Teach-In by teaching film classes at Leto High School. The program invites community members to share their knowledge and introduce students to new career options, hobbies, and activities.
Wild Rover Film Festival
Wild Rover Brewing Company held its second annual Wild Rover Film Festival. The two-day festival included a fantastic slate of films, a networking happy hour, and “Afternoon Tea” each day to connect filmmakers and fans.
On day two of the Wild Rover Film Festival, Tampa local, Chelsea Wolf of Bouncy Boxer Media was awarded the Wild Rover award. Wolf's directorial debut, Dating Game, screened at the festival as part of their day two shorts block alongside other phenomenal short films.

Gearing up for GIFF
The Gasparilla International Film Festival advisory board gathered at Craft Tampa to discuss plans for the upcoming festival on March 27 - 30, 2025. This year's event will showcase an exciting new slate of films from diverse filmmakers with unique stories.
Programmers and organizers are busy building the best GIFF yet. If you've always dreamed of seeing your film on the big screen, submissions are open until Sunday, December 15th.

Starting Right, Now is an organization dedicated to supporting unaccompanied homeless youth. The organization provides services such as stable housing, access to preventative healthcare, educational and workforce development support, financial literacy, and nurturing belonging through one-on-one mentorship.
