September Recap

Hilary’s Time at TIFF

Production Manager Hilary Webber attended the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival to promote Tampa as a filming destination. Film Tampa Bay was a proud sponsor of this year’s Film Florida reception at Watson’s, where film industry professionals gathered to learn about the diversity of filmmaking resources available in Florida.

The event was attended by over one hundred TIFF participants from around the world. Hilary also participated in events which included receptions hosted by various state film organizations, as well as networking events for filmmakers with projects in development. She attended panels on the state of theatrical exhibition and event-izing the moviegoing experience, as well as over thirty screenings, including the world premiere of MEN OF WAR from Florida filmmaker Billy Corben.
