In March we celebrated the 17th annual Gasparilla International Film Festival. As the title sponsor, Film Tampa Bay couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and dedication provided by the volunteers and board members of GIFF.

Over the course of four days, GIFF screened more than 65 films, hosted several amazing panels, and conducted dozens of Q&As with filmmakers from around the country.

GIFF is an all-volunteer organization, and the amount of work that goes into a festival really can’t be overstated. The enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers is what makes this festival truly special. I also want to thank the community and sponsors.

This year saw record-breaking attendance. To everyone in Tampa Bay, thank you for continuing to support independent film, we can’t wait to see what next year brings.
