Spotlight: The Burgert Brothers Photographic Collection

Get to know the century-old photograph archive of Tampa Bay

We sat down with the spokespeople for The Burgert Brothers Photographic Collection, housed at John F. Germany Library in Downtown Tampa.

Over 20,000 photos taken between the late 19th and early 20th century are cold stored and archived at this location, and all are accessible to the public.

Businesses, historians and filmmakers have all stepped back in Tampa's history through the lens of The Burgert Brothers.

High-resolution digital copies are available by requesting them through the library's online portal.
