Film Tampa Bay Welcomes Birdie Doyle! 

You may already know Birdie from Film Tampa Bay's all-new series, The Bird Watch, where she breaks down weekly film related events in Tampa Bay! But here's a little more about Film Tampa Bay's newest member, Marketing Coordinator, Birdie Doyle. 

Originally from Virginia, Birdie moved to Tampa to attend the University of Tampa, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media in 2021. A former FTB intern, she creatively energized FTB's marketing initiatives while also sharpening her own producing and editing skills. After graduation, she joined Tampa Bay Arts & Education Network as their Media Arts Coordinator. There she hosted, produced, and edited several shows simultaneously. And now, she's brought her skills BACK to Film Tampa Bay! We are thrilled to welcome her to the team.

The Beast Comes at Midnight (filmed in Tampa Bay) is officially streaming on Amazon Prime! The film co-stars Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, Inherent Vice) and Michael Pare (The Lincoln Lawyer, Hope Floats) and is the story of an outcast, teenage live streamer who must enlist the help of four popular kids after he discovers that a werewolf is tracking one of them in their small rural town. Tis the season! Holiday Decor is officially up in most major parks

By Nov 6, Christmas decorations will be up throughout Downtown, the Riverwalk, Plant City and Ybor City, including 13 new large light decorations that will be anchored to barges and deployed down the Hillsborough River from the Tampa Convention Center up to Armature Works. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park will be unavailable for film shoots between Nov 6 and Jan 9. 

As a reminder, we are unable to take down or move any decorations in any circumstances, so please plan your upcoming shoots accordingly.
