Earlier this month Tampa Bay played host to Super Bowl LV. Even in the best of circumstances an event of that size and scale is a herculean community effort to plan and execute successfully. Being able to pull off a world-class event amidst a global pandemic shows the resilience, creativity, and hard work of the Tampa Bay community.
Dozens of local crew were hired to contribute to the production of hundreds of media assets. It is important to acknowledge the hard work and talents that take place behind the scenes. From the halftime show to the amazing drone work showing off downtown and our waterfront, our crews were leading the way. I'm deeply appreciative for all of the efforts made by our community to make Super Bowl LV happen. As we move out of the pandemic, let's keep up the energy and hard work that made this Super Bowl one for the record books.
