Arghh You Ready for Street Closures

Everyone's favorite pirate season is just around the corner, and with it comes several special events, closures, and blackout dates that have the potential to affect productions through early March. To provide as much notice as possible, below, you will find pertinent information and dates.

BAYSHORE BLVD will play host to not only our world-famous Gasparilla Parade, but also several other events and races. Fencing and bleachers will start to be deployed JAN 5TH along much of Bayshore, and will not be fully removed till Mar 2nd. While filming along Bayshore during this period may be possible, bleachers, fences, and tents will obstruct the majority of sight lines.

Filming is prohibited in the following neighborhoods between 1/15/20 - 1/28/20 as well as 2/21/20 -2/24/20:
Hyde Park Preservation, Historic Hyde Park, and Bayshore Gardens. This restriction is to ensure event organizers and vendors have unobstructed access to the parade or event routes.

Popular event parks are also affected by Gasparilla festivities. Curtis Hixon Park and Julian B Lane park will be unavailable during the following dates. Curtis Hixon Park: 1/6/20 -1/12/20, 1/22/20 -1/28/20, 3/4/20 - 3/10/20. Julian B Lane Park: 2/26/20 -3/3/20. Note, the previous dates are blackout dates, filming outside of those dates may still be disrupted by setup, wrap, or maintenance. We strongly encourage you to reach out as soon as possible so our office can help coordinate and advise potential dates and times for park use between Jan - Mar.
