Justin Long to direct a movie in Hillsborough County
Justin Long to direct a movie in Hillsborough County this January. Estimated to spend $1 million.
The producer is Tony Stopperan. His credits include Skyman, which was directed by The Blair Witch Project’s Dan Myrick, a Tampa resident who has a production studio in Ybor City.
“Tony has worked hard to bring several projects to the bay area,” said Tyler Martinolich, Hillsborough County film commissioner. “This is precisely the type of film our incentive was created to attract.”

Formerly with the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission, Hilary will be assisting productions needing permitting and logistical assistance moving forward. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Hilary has a deep love of film and is a wonderful addition to our team.
