The Long Bros visit UT Campus
When the Long Brothers filmed their buddy-comedy “Lady of the Manor” in Tampa, they used locations like Hyde Park, Gaspar’s Grotto, and the The University of Tampa. While they filmed at UT, they had more than 20 students work on the film and a dozen cast on screen! These students launched their filmmaking careers thanks to this film.
In December, the Long Bros made a trip back to Tampa Bay to offer students insight into their writing and producing processes. They held a producing course and then led an engaging Q&A after a special screening at the film and animation school’s all-new theater.

It is with great sadness that we report that Marty Lewis, President of the St. Augustine Film Office and Film Florida Board Member, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Marty was a community leader and loved by many in the St. Augustine Community and throughout our entire state. He will be missed and our thoughts are with his family. RIP Marty.
