Blair Witch Director Vows to Complete Horror Series in Tampa Bay

The movie director best known for The Blair Witch Project hoped to start shooting the second episode of his Tampa web series next month.

Instead, Dan Myrick is self-isolating at his home in Bainbridge Island, Wash., to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

But he has a message for those who depend on his Tampa-based production company for work: “I will return."

Diamond View Films TESLA On Selmon Expressway

Early in March, Tampa Bay production company Diamond View partnered with Tesla Model 3 owners to participate in the filming of a documentary series about Tampa Bay. The crew utilized the entirety of the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway for a day of shooting. The series will reportedly be distributed on Netflix.
